About the Seed Squad Project
What are Seed Bombs?
Seed bombs are small balls made of soil, clay, and wildflower seeds. They're a fun and easy way to plant flowers in places that need more plants and color!
Our Mission
The Seed Squad project is tracking seed bombs planted by kids all around the world. We want to see how many flowers we can grow together and learn about different places where plants can grow!
How to Participate
- Make your own seed bombs using clay, soil, and wildflower seeds
- Plant them in a spot that could use some flowers (always ask an adult first!)
- Take a picture of where you planted them (no people in the photos please!)
- Add your seed bomb to our map using the "Plant a Seed Bomb" page
- Check back to see if others have planted seed bombs near you!
Science Fair Project
This website is part of a 3rd grade science fair project. We're studying how seed bombs can help plants grow in different places and how many kids around the world want to help make their neighborhoods greener!
